Logging in to the website

How do I log in?

To log in to the website, you will need the username and password you entered when you enrolled in the program. Your username is the email address you gave us when you enrolled in the program.

If you entered your password during enrollment, you should have received an email entitled “Welcome to Web Coach – your registration is complete”.

If you were not asked to enter your password during enrollment, you may have received an email entitled “Final Registration Step: Log in with your account information” with three important pieces of information:

  1. The Internet address (URL) for the website.
  2. Your username for logging in to the website. Your username is the email address you gave us when you enrolled in the program; for example, johndoe@comcast.net. It is also the address we used to send you the ‘Final Registration Step’ email.
  3. Your secure password. You can copy and paste the password directly from the email right into the password field on the Login page.

Here are some hints if you are experiencing problems logging in to the website:

  • Be sure there are no spaces and the ‘Caps Lock’ is off when entering your username and password. Passwords are case sensitive.
  • Try copying and pasting the password from the ‘Final Registration Step’ email into the password field on the Login page.
  • Don’t add extra spaces after the email address or password. If you do not remember your password, click on the ‘I forgot my password’ link on the Login page. Follow the prompts to reset your password.

How can I get a website account?

Your website account was created for you when you enrolled in this program. You must provide a correct and valid email address in order to receive your website account information.

If you have already enrolled in this program and provided an email address when you enrolled, but you weren’t asked to enter a password, check your email Inbox for the ‘Final Registration Step’ email. That email included both your username and password.

If you have enrolled in this program but don't have the website account, please contact the program to confirm or update your information by providing your email address. After updating your information, you'll get an account and can log on right away to get started.

Note: the website is currently designed for people who smoke cigarettes and may also use another kind of tobacco. If you do not smoke cigarettes at all, and only use other kinds of tobacco, such as cigars, pipes, or smokeless tobacco (chew), the website is not designed for you at this time. However, our Quit Coaches are ready to work with you and with our printed materials to help you build a Quitting Plan designed to help you quit.

Using the website

I have forgotten my password. How do I retrieve it?

You can reset your password from Login page. Click the ‘I forgot my password’ link and follow the prompts to reset your password. Note: For privacy reasons, Quit Coaches don’t know your password.

What is my username?

Your username is the email address you provided when you enrolled. If you have changed your email address in your Profile since you enrolled, then that email address will be your username.

If I’m changing my email address, will my login stay the same?

No. If you change your email address with us, your login will change too – the web site always works with the email address you provide us.

My spouse/partner and I share one email account. Can we each have the same username but different Web Accounts?

No, you must each use a unique username or email address in order to each access your Web Accounts.
